Make a video exactly 1080×1920 for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts, 1080×1350 or 1080×1080 for the feed, or 1920×1080 for YouTube. Fit keeps the whole picture with bars; Fill covers the frame with no bars.

When the video’s shape differs from the platform’s, something has to give: either bars are added or edges are lost.

TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts: 1080×1920 (9:16). Instagram feed: 1080×1350 (4:5) or 1080×1080 (1:1). YouTube and most players: 1920×1080 (16:9). Uploading at the exact size avoids the platform cropping or padding the video again.
FFmpeg runs inside this browser tab, so your files are never uploaded. There is no account, watermark, or usage limit; the size limit is your device’s memory: about 750 MB on a laptop and 250 MB on a phone. Re-encoding long videos can take minutes, and the page shows an estimate first.
